As a non-profit organization, our mission is to empower these individuals to experience lives full of dignity and purpose.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nTwo years of direct care experience is preferred.\nPrevious supervisory experience is preferred.\nValid Colorado driver's license with acceptable driving record required.\nAcceptable criminal background check required.\nExperience working with developmental disabilities is strongly desired.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Along with the duties of a direct support professional (DSP), program supervisors will also be responsible for the following tasks.\nProgrammatic Duties\nParticipate in the development of goals/ ISSPs for the persons served:\nWrite ISSPs that meet the criteria for measurability and that meet required standards.\nReview programmatic documentation for service compliance.\nComplete required documentation to carry out and monitor progress of individual plans.\nAttend Service Plan meetings and provide units and frequency of services to case management.\nEstablish and coordinate a variety of schedules and ensure service delivery is in accordance with each Service Plan. Coordinate schedules for all activities, both facility-based and in the community-at-large.\nMaintain security of client funds and financial records in accordance with the Service Plan; balance and reconcile client personal needs funds on no less than a monthly basis.\nPlan and implement healthy and varied menus that conform to all diets of the residents and that meet State Department of Health (if applicable) requirements. Ensure diets are posted, dated, and kept on site for six months.\nEnsures health and safety of each person served and ensures necessary plans are in place and implemented as needed.\nRegular driving of agency vehicles for various reasons including, but not limited to, transporting clients on outings and appointments, running errands, and other driving tasks as directed.\nOn-call duties in rotation with other designated staff who have been trained to COI protocols and have been approved by the program director.\nOversees the administration of medications as needed.\nProvide initial orientation and training of new staff and ensure completion of the orientation checklist and six-month competency checklist.\nCoordinate schedules for work and activities both in-house and outside of our facilities.\nProgram supervisors at residential facilities must ensure that household chores, meal preparation, and daily personal hygiene are completed per COI standards.\nProgram supervisors at day program facilities must ensure all services are being provided per service definitions, frequencies, and authorizations.\n\nSupervision of Staff\nComplete interviewing and hiring functions with support from program director.\nOversee training and development of assigned DSPs seeking guidance from program director as needed.\nWith guidance from the program director and human resource department, monitor assigned staff performance and complete formal evaluations of assigned DSPs in a timely manner.\nSeek guidance and support from program director and/or human resources department regarding staff issues and disciplinary action.\nAdministrative Duties\nGathering and/or review various documentation, i.e. end of month reports, attendance reports, timesheets, various spreadsheets and ledgers etc.\nEnsures vehicle logs are maintained accurately by staff, complete cover sheet at the end of the month and submit.\nCompile and submit all billing to the business office in a timely manner.\nMaintain, review, and sign staff timesheets prior to submission to the payroll department.\nComplete filing and other administrative tasks as assigned.\nMatch staff documentation with programmatic documentation to ensure alignment with the Service Plans.\nAssist in the set-up and maintenance of charts and records for each person served.\nAssist in the coordination of medical, dental, and therapeutic appointments for all persons receiving services, as needed.\nMonitor staff training to ensure all assigned staff are up to date on required training.\nCommunicate professionally and regularly with case management, parents, guardians, and people in the community.
