We embed sustainability in everything we do and ensure our customers are ready for the moments that matter.\nThe Role We Are Offering You\nAs a Senior Instructor at the Navy Synthetic Warfighting Centre (NSWC), you will lead and manage the delivery of advanced tactical training and synthetic warfare training events for the Royal Australian Navy. Your responsibilities will include:\nSupervising and managing synthetic training scenario delivery, including Advanced Tactical Training (ATT).\nActing as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Australian Combat Systems and tactical interfaces.\nLeading major synthetic events (LFE, ATT, SWIPE) and filling bespoke roles such as EXCON Director, Battle Management Coordinator, and Intelligence Coordinator.\nProviding mentoring, leadership, and team management for NSWC training staff.\nLiaising with Defence agencies and coalition partners to align training objectives and capabilities.\nOur Ideal Candidate Has:\nEssential:\n8–12 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with Naval Combat Management Systems (AEGIS and 9LV preferred).\nStrong understanding of RAN operational structure, warfighting principles, and doctrine.\nExperience with ADF operations and exercise requirements (minimum 10 years).\nPrevious experience managing a team of combat system operators.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nDesirable:\nCertificate IV in Training and Assessment.\nBackground in roles such as Surveillance Control Officer, Fighter Controller, Air Combat Officer, or similar Defence positions.\nLocation: Sydney, NSW\nWhat CAE Offers You:\nOpportunity to make a positive impact on Australian defence and security.\nExciting career paths in a truly global business.\nApplications:\nIf this role fits what you are looking for and you believe you have the necessary skills and experience, click ‘Apply Now’ and attach your resume.\nEEO Statement\nAt CAE, everyone is welcome to contribute to our success.
