Join our team and help shape the future of financial documentation.Contract, RemoteNo C2C or sponsorshipPay $35/hrJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Technical Writer to create, manage, and maintain a variety of financial and technical documents. This role involves drafting and revising procedures, policies, technical and non-technical process narratives, user guides, and other supporting documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both financial and technical writing, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documents.• Collaborate with developers, subject matter experts, and business colleagues to document complex financial models used for Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR), Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review(CCAR), and current expected credit loss (CECL) reporting.• Research, organize, and interpret mortgage models for technical, executive, and regulatory audiences.• Develop and maintain content-specific templates.• Develop and maintain internal style guideKey Responsibilities:Develop and update technical and financial documentation, including but not limited to procedures, policies, process narratives, and user manuals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, compliance, and operations, to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.Simplify complex financial processes and technical content for a broad audience, including non-technical stakeholders.Ensure that all documentation adheres to company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Manage document revisions, updates, and version control, ensuring consistency and accuracy.Review and edit existing documentation for clarity, coherence, and adherence to corporate style and branding guidelines.Create and maintain a repository of all technical and financial documents for easy access and retrieval.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation in a timely manner.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in writing technical and financial documentation.Strong understanding of financial processes, terminology, and regulatory requirements.Proven ability to write clear and concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and other content management systems.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with banking operations, compliance standards, and regulatory reporting.Experience working within the financial services industry.Knowledge of style guides and industry standards for technical writing.
