This position reports to the Calibre Semi ILT R&D manager.\n\nResponsibilities Include:\nDevelop novel solutions to complex problems\nPresent detailed technical proposals for discussions with peers and management\nImplement high quality production ready software in C++\nPerform detailed, quantitative analysis of performance and quality of the software\nImprove the performance of massively parallel and highly scalable software platform\nResearch existing work in the field and applicable fields\nCreate regression tests and regularly monitor the software performance and quality\nQuickly fix bugs in production software\n\nRequirements:\nBSEE, MSEE/ MS or Ph.D. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 3 years software development experience is required\nImplement object oriented software in C++\nComfortably navigate large software source base and come up with novel solutions\nGood knowledge and experience developing highly optimized scalable distributed systems in C++\nSolid understanding software development for Linux\nSolid understanding of Computer Science and Computer systems concepts and algorithms\n\nNice to have experience:\nWorking in the EDA, specifically with lithography and optical proximity correction software\nExperience developing features for large software systems\nThe position will be based out of Bay Area location in USA or Wilsonville OR USA or possibly other.\n\nThis position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
