You’ll be a mentor and coach for employees across all levels.\nDaily Tailboards & Communication: Host daily safety tailboards to explain LOTO procedures, any changes to the system, and answer any questions from the team.\nEnsure Compliance: Keep detailed records of all LOTO activities, including procedures, audits, and training sessions. Perform regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards.\nInvestigate & Resolve Issues: If there’s ever a LOTO-related incident, you’ll lead investigations to find root causes and implement corrective actions.\nContinuous Improvement: You’ll help identify opportunities to enhance our safety processes, making sure our LOTO procedures are always evolving to be more effective.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nExperience: 5+ years in safety roles, particularly in chemical plant operations, with a strong background in Lockout/Tagout procedures. Construction or maintenance experience is a plus.\nExpertise: Proven ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering documents, with an in-depth understanding of hazardous energy control and OSHA requirements.\nCommunication Skills: You excel at explaining complex procedures in a way that’s easy to understand and can influence others to prioritize safety.\nProblem-Solving Mindset: You can anticipate challenges and solve them efficiently, always with a focus on continuous improvement.\nTeam Player: You work well across departments, building strong relationships with operators, engineers, and maintenance staff to achieve shared safety goals.\nWhy Join Us?
