Working closely with the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent, this hands-on leadership role coordinates daily site activities, oversees SRM field crews, supports subcontractors, and helps ensure construction progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plan. The Foreman leads by example, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork while actively contributing to construction activities as needed.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate the daily activities of Laborers\nPromote and enforce job site safety standards, including PPE, barricades, fall protection, traffic control, and other safety requirements\nMonitor site activities to ensure safe work practices are consistently followed\nCoordinate subcontractor needs and help maintain efficient project workflow\nMaintain site security by monitoring fencing, gates, access points, and security systems\nCoordinate material and equipment deliveries to support the construction schedule\nVerify equipment operators have appropriate certifications and training\nEnsure approved Traffic Control Plans are properly implemented and maintained\nMonitor daily construction activities and identify potential issues before they impact the project\nReview construction plans and details to support quality installation and project execution\nAssist in resolving field questions from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers while escalating significant issues to the Superintendent\nPerform hands-on carpentry and construction work as needed\nMaintain clean, organized, and efficient job site operations\nSupport project quality by identifying deficiencies and ensuring work meets company standards\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent\n5+ years of commercial or multifamily construction experience\nPrevious experience leading field crews or serving as a Foreman\nStrong knowledge of construction safety requirements and OSHA standards\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specifications\nExperience coordinating subcontractors and construction logistics\nKnowledge of traffic control requirements and material delivery coordination\nStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment\nDependable, organized, and safety-focused\nAbility to work collaboratively with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nExperience on occupied multifamily construction projects\nForklift and aerial lift certifications\nTraffic Control certification\nExperience with site logistics planning\nStrong carpentry and framing background\nPhysical Requirements: This is a field-based role on active construction sites. The position requires frequent walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and performing physical construction work as needed.\nTravel: 0-10%\nThe hourly rate for this position in the Greater Spokane area is $32 - $38.
