The role focuses on improving delivery quality, reducing field conflicts, and enabling efficient multidisciplinary collaboration across design, construction, and fabrication teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage, maintain and evolve Revit models for MEP, piping and HVAC disciplines, ensuring adherence to company BIM standards and project requirements.\nPerform clash detection, model aggregation, and coordination workflows using Navisworks (Manage/Simulate) and other coordination tools; document and track clashes to closure.\nDevelop and implement BIM/VDC processes, standards, and execution plans; drive continuous improvement of model delivery and coordination practices.\nHost and facilitate regular interdisciplinary coordination meetings, produce coordination reports, and communicate model issues and resolutions with design, construction and fabrication teams.\nPrepare and deliver model-based deliverables for prefabrication, installation sequencing, shop drawing generation and field layout, including 4D/5D model simulations where required.\nCoordinate with project managers, discipline leads, and subcontractors to align model content, Level of Development (LOD), and BIM project milestones.\nReview and validate model geometry, data quality and technical content for constructability and code compliance; flag and resolve discrepancies with design teams.\nSupport automated workflows, data exchanges and interoperability between Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other project systems.\nProvide training and guidance to project teams on BIM tools, processes and best practices; act as the local point of contact for BIM/VDC coordination tasks.\nMaintain thorough documentation of coordination decisions, model revisions, and as-built model updates for handover and closeout.\nQualifications\nPreferred - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of hands-on experience in BIM modeling and VDC coordination on commercial or industrial construction projects.\nProven proficiency with Autodesk Revit for MEP and piping modeling and Navisworks for clash detection and model aggregation.\nStrong understanding of piping and HVAC systems, including fabrication and installation practices.\nExperience with BIM execution plans (BEP), Level of Development (LOD) criteria, and BIM standards/ISO protocols.\nFamiliarity with collaboration platforms such as BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar common data environment (CDE) tools.\nExcellent communication and coordination skills; able to lead interdisciplinary meetings and drive timely resolution of issues.\nDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project milestones.\nAutodesk certification (e.g., Revit or Navisworks) or relevant BIM/VDC certifications preferred; experience with 4D/5D scheduling and prefabrication workflows a plus.\nBenefits\nHealth/Vision/Dental Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\n401(k) with Profit-Sharing\nPTO/Sick Leave\nHolidays Off\nStudent Loan Rebate Opportunities\nContinued Education Provided\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
