This role requires an individual who proactively designs solutions to program challenges, takes complete ownership of deliverables, and anticipates or adapts to changing circumstances to optimize overall results.\nTangram Program Managers function with a high degree of autonomy. They manage their own project budgets, negotiate routine technical modifications with the client, are able to navigate moderately complex problems (with occasional guidance), and anticipate/adapt to changing circumstances to optimize overall results. They build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and are deeply involved in follow-on or other organic growth efforts.\nThe Tangram environment is fast-paced with overlapping priorities and requires Program Managers to be highly flexible, able to juggle multiple tasks at once, and be customer-facing. PM’s maintain a focus on, and ensure:\nSuccessful execution of the program based on contractual commitments (technical delivery on schedule, on budget);\nSuccessful execution of milestones and deliverables;\nSuccessful facilitation and coordination of program and team efforts;\nSuccessful communication of resource (people, security, software, etc.) requirements of the program to Engineering and Operations leadership; and\nRegular communication of Program Performance to Tangram leadership (and other stakeholders, as needed).\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES /\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nHolds ultimate responsibility for the program's Scope, Schedule, Budget\nServes as the primary programmatic point of contact for external customer: Serve as an internal advocate for customer and program needs;\nBuild and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, actively leveraging those relationships to drive follow-on or organic contract growth.\nOversees all aspects of contract financials, ensuring ceiling, funding, and expenditure amounts are accurate, understood, and tracked.\nManage the lifecycle of all Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs); Coordinate internal quality assurance reviews; track due dates, and ensure timely, compliant submissions to the customer\nMay act as capture manager for related growth opportunities; review and provide content to ongoing proposals; participate in regular capture meetings\nCommunicates effectively within the team and applicable stakeholders; actively contributes to team meetings; reviews and contributes to peers work products\nUnderstands the nuances of various contract types and related contracting concepts\nAnalyzes program scope and requirements for program risk, IP concerns, and security needs;\nEnsures planned milestones and deliverables are reasonable and achievable; analyzes the impact or potential impact of missed or inadequate deliverable\nCommunicates a clear definition of contractual obligations and timelines to entire organization;\nTracks milestone/deliverable achievement and informs finance when deliverable has been accepted and to prepare the invoice;\nReviews/approves invoices (both prime and sub) prior to submission or payment;\nMonitor, update, and communicate estimated resourcing plan while understanding and managing customer expectations;\nEnsures projects are set up correctly and proper tools are in place prior to the start of a project;\nDocument action items, assign owners, and aggressively track items to closure\nProactively designs solutions for problems or program challenges\nShows desire for continuous learning and improvement; Supports resource and workload capacity model planning and inputs.\nTakes ownership of tasks and independently delivers quality work\nDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE /\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Management, or a related field of study.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience managing, supporting, or leading programs in a Federal Government or Department of Defense environment\nPossess a current/or recent U.S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.\nAbility to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively\nUnderstanding of Government and Industry program/project management tasks and execution methods\nAbility to manage multiple complex, multidisciplinary tasks and projects\nExperience working directly with Customers to capture, understand, and meet requirements, build relationships, and enhance company revenue and product goals\nExcellent time and resource management skills\nProficient with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Project) or related (Google Suite) products.\nTeam player with demonstrated ability to lead and/or support co-workers to success\nExcellent writing, reviewing, and editing skills\nDemonstrated competency in written and oral communication.\nTravel required 10% -15%\nPreferred:\nExisting U.S. Government Security Clearance\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods.\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours/day).\nAbility to lift and carry lightweight items (e.g., laptops, demo equipment, marketing materials) up to 25 lbs.\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, using a mouse, writing, and handling equipment.\nVisual acuity to read detailed technical documents, view computer screens, and operate software systems.\nAuditory ability to participate in meetings, customer demos, and conference calls, including in potentially noisy environments (e.g., trade shows or military facilities).\nMobility to move between office spaces, customer sites, conference venues, and manufacturing or lab environments.\nFlexibility to adapt to varying work environments (e.g., corporate offices, government buildings, industrial or lab spaces).\nWe are committed to staying rooted in our core value of Team First.
