Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description Job Summary: Assist physical therapists in delivering patient-centered care by implementing treatment plans and supporting patients of all ages. Ensure smooth clinical operations through administrative and organizational tasks while promoting patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities:Support physical therapists by facilitating therapy sessions and guiding patients through exercises.Assist patients with stretching, strengthening, and mobility routines as prescribed.Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.Collaborate with the physical therapist to adapt care plans based on patient progress.Communicate effectively with patients and their families about at-home care techniques.Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing paperwork. Qualifications:Possess at least 1 year of PTA experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.Hold an active PTA license valid in the state of Washington.Complete required certifications through AHA, including BLS, and keep certifications current.Have a valid active Ohio or compact state license at the time of submission.Demonstrate proficiency in patient care skills and documentation within the past year.
