The organization focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient technology foundations that improve project delivery and operational excellence across the enterprise.About the OpportunityThe Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.Reporting to the CTO and collaborating with senior leadership, this role plays a key part in advancing the organization’s digital transformation strategy through continuous integration and delivery automation, Infrastructure as Code, AI/ML infrastructure enablement, and platform engineering.The position ensures cloud platforms support product delivery, operational reliability, cost efficiency, and security compliance.Responsibilities• Design and implement enterprise-scale multi-cloud infrastructure, primarily across Azure, while ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.• Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and AWS CloudFormation.• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub version control.• Establish monitoring, observability, and incident response capabilities using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and Prometheus.• Manage Azure infrastructure components including subscriptions, tenants, virtual networks, and security groups.• Optimize cloud spending through FinOps practices using Azure Cost Management and AWS Cost Explorer.• Enforce cloud security and compliance standards in partnership with the CISO.• Support compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, FedRAMP, and CMMC.• Serve as the primary technical liaison with Microsoft Azure and AWS.• Manage cloud vendor relationships and align vendor roadmaps with organizational technology strategies.• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve infrastructure and DevOps workflows.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and AWS CloudFormation.• Proficiency developing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.• Experience implementing cloud security practices including IAM, zero-trust architecture, and compliance controls.• Knowledge of enterprise-scale cloud cost management and governance.• Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and executive stakeholders.• Preferred experience with Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or EKS.• Preferred experience with Docker, cloud infrastructure supporting AI/ML workloads, and platform engineering practices.Pay Range and Compensation Package• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
