Responsibilities
Directing all front of house operations
Delivering revenue and profits by reviewing expenditures and providing appealing restaurant service; managing staff
Maintaining patron satisfaction and building relationships with preferred patrons
Accomplishing restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management and hourly staff; clearly communicating job expectations; enforcing policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations
Delegating authority, assigning responsibilities and effectively managing subordinates, taking responsibility for their growth and career path
Establishing standards for personnel administration and performance, exceptional service to patrons, food selection and service
Partnering with Executive Chef and head chef to ensure coordination and effective communication between FOH and BOH
Allocating funds, authorizing expenditures, and assisting in planning budgets for departments
Negotiating contracts with vendors
Answering patrons’ complaints and resolving problems
Maintaining all necessary licenses and permits
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manage 4-5 subordinate managers who in turn supervise a total of up to approximately 60-70 employees
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Other supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years direct general management experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment required
Must be able to pass Big Night Entertainment Group’s requirements in regards to legal background check
Must have the ability to complete the process for the Massachusetts State Gaming Commission service employee registration prior to starting
High School Diploma required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Valid TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification required
Other certifications may be required over the duration of employment if selected such as Food Safety Management, Allergen, Crowd Control, CPR and/or First Aid
Exemplary customer service skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work well with people internally and externally at all levels
Solid planning, organizing and scheduling abilities
Strong team building skills with emphasis on development and ability to think outside the box
Ability to create enthusiasm, demonstrate innovation and encourage growth and learning in others
Work hours necessary to maintain facility

Base Pay: $90,000-$100,000/year
