This role is responsible for operating heavy-duty equipment, moving and organizing materials, and maintaining an efficient and safe laydown yard. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically active work throughout the shift. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced equipment operator looking for long-term career potential with a growing operation.Key Responsibilities\r\nOperate heavy-duty forklifts (Class 7), telehandlers, skid steers, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently\r\nLoad, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the yard\r\nAssist with inventory organization and maintain accurate material placement\r\nPerform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns\r\nWork closely with supervisors and team members to support daily operational goals\r\nPerform general yard duties as needed, including frequent walking and outdoor labor\r\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment\r\nAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely\r\nQualifications & Skills\r\nPrevious experience operating heavy-duty forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, or similar equipment required\r\nComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions\r\nAbility to lift, move, and handle materials in an active yard environment\r\nStrong attention to safety and operational procedures\r\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic required\r\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\r\nSteel toe boots and appropriate work attire required\r\nConsistent work history\r\nEmployment Type & Compensation\r\nFull-Time | Temp-to-Hire position\r\nCompensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience\r\nApplication Period: This position will remain open until filled\r\nWork Schedule\r\nMonday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM\r\nBenefits\r\nPaid Holidays\r\nMedical, Dental, Vision insurance\r\nBereavement Leave\r\nRetirement, 401(k)\r\nPersonal AdvancementEmployer Information\r\nThis position is being recruited by NCW on behalf of a client company.
