We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This role is responsible for preparing and processing shipments, receiving and inspecting incoming goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
The Warehouse Associate keeps products organized, ensures quality and safety standards are met, and operates equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and strong teamwork skills to support efficient warehouse operations.
What The Role will Do:
Shipping Duties
Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring they are packed securely and meet company standards.
Generate and affix shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation.
Load and unload shipments from trucks or other transportation vehicles.
Operate shipping equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and handle goods.
Receiving Duties
Unload incoming shipments and verify items against purchase orders and packing lists.
Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and document any issues.
Sort and organize received items for proper storage in the warehouse.
Update inventory records and assist in reconciling any discrepancies between physical inventory and system data
Inventory Management
Assist with stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
Restock shelves and organize inventory to optimize storage space and accessibility.
Monitor inventory levels and notify the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator of any low stock or urgent needs.
Prepare and distribute regular performance, inventory, and compliance reports.
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in various shipping, receiving and warehouse processes in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 1 year experience working with UPS Worldwide and familiarity with international shipping requirements strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing shipments
Ability to operate shipping and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with sit-down and stand-up equipment required.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
