Positions Supervised: None\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 – 3:30, 7:30-4:00, 8:00-4:30\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nResponsible for efficient and timely flow of raw and finished material through the facility. Verify and keep records on\nincoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and\nshipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material;\nand arranging for the transportation of products.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nUsing Shipment pick-tickets to pull parts for orders and distribute to shipping line with accuracy. Use work orders to\npull parts and setup kits for Production. Deliver or route materials to departments.\nPerform daily counts on raw, in-process and finished goods, and report discrepancies. Identify and correct data\nerrors in system and on hard copy, even if caused by others.\nVerify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. Examine contents\nand compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing\nshipment.\nPrepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.\nConfer and correspond with Production and Warehouse Managers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages,\nand nonconformance to specifications.\nPack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power\ntools, and postage meter.\nOrganize and document storage and movement of materials to satisfy production schedule\nESSENTIAL TASKS\nRecord shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting,\naccounting, and recordkeeping purposes.\nRequisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\nCore Corporate Qualities\nAttendance/Attitude - Ability to exhibit a conscious effort to fill ones responsibilities on an hour-by-hour, day-by-day\nbasis.
