Custodial Day Porter in Jupiter We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate will have prior janitorial experience and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform general, routine custodial duties, including cleaning the interior of buildings. Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones. Perform routine maintenance on custodial equipment and supplies. Empty trash receptacles, dispose of trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal. Perform cleaning functions specific to assigned facilities and seasonal or special project requirements. Minimum Job Requirements: Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. Minimum of one (1) year of janitorial experience required. Must speak fluent English. Physical Demands: Considerable physical activity required. Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work constitutes more than 70% of job duties. Work environment includes exposure to potential hazards requiring adherence to basic safety precautions. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. Ability to operate vacuums and other related cleaning equipment. Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
