Are you ready to achieve great things with us?How you can make an impactAs a Commodity Buyer, you will be responsible for your assigned commodity group, including but not limited to, its budget and material availability. You will ensure that your work meets Stadler\'s quality requirements, including on time performance.Key ActivitiesEvaluate and select vendors and suppliersNegotiate commercial terms with suppliers (pricing, delivery terms, contracts)Collaborate inter-departmentally to resolve problems and provide consultation (e.g. Engineering and Project Management)Participate in pooling negotiations as assignedProcurement consulting for assigned commodity groupsSupport Purchasing Manager and BuyersConduct supplier reviewsCoordinate intercompany pooling activitiesPlan and purchase components within assigned commodity groupSupport NCR team with claimsCollect liquidated damages from vendorsActively manage suppliersQualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or similar fieldMinimum of 2 years\' experience in Industrial or Manufacturing purchasingFluent English required with German a plusResilient and independent personalityStrong organizational skills and efficient working methodsVery experienced with Microsoft Office and ERP system (preferable Infor COM)Your contact personJennifer HoodTalent Acquisition Specialist+1 801 205 0523 #J-18808-Ljbffr
