From nourishing the world with the best protein on earth to protecting our oceans, serving our fishermen, and supporting communities in Alaska and beyond, here, you’ll find a values-driven culture where your growth matters, your work has purpose and your contributions are recognized and appreciated—because at Trident, we believe meaningful work connects us all.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nJob Summary:\n\nThe Seafood Processor 1 role processes seafood products by performing the following duties.\n\nEssential Functions:\n\nCleans, scraps, and trims product.\nOpens and removes raw materials and places on belts.\nSegregates product on conveyor belt or table according to grade, color, and size, and places product in containers or on designated conveyors.\n\nAbility to cut and portion frozen fish blocks using a band saw; inspect product quality, maintain a clean work area, and follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines\n\nDiscards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign matter.\nPacks product in boxes, barrels, baskets, or crates for storage or shipment.\nOperates machine(s) to move live or packed seafood from place to place.\nReviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.\nAcquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.\nNotifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.\nFollows plant food safety policies and industry best practices.\nPerforms other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.\n\nTrident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package.
