Position DescriptionThe AP/AR Clerk is responsible for providing internal and external customers with high quality, professional payable and receivable services. The AP/AR Clerk will assist our facilities, vendors and customers on all issues, key invoices, apply cash received using a variety of systems and offering solutions or teaching opportunities in a positive manner.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSchedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Billing and invoicing clientsweekly and monthly
Coding invoices in Ivalua
Coding expenses for the PNC Card
Assisting corporate accountants
Pulling data and updating excel spreadsheets daily
Entering data into TOPEX
Assisting maintenance manager with Asset Essentials
Update company assets in Asset Essentials daily as neededin service, out of service, adding assets, removing assets, tracking costs, etc.
Key SkillsEffective communication with management team and clients
Computer skills including Excel knowledge
P&L understanding
Understanding of accounting principles
Analytical skills
Attention to detail
Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to learn and understand new development processes
QualificationsHigh School Diploma, additional education a plus
2-5 years accounting experience desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must be highly motivated and detail oriented
Effective oral and written communication skills
