Digital Workplace Engineer (O365 Workplace, Endpoint & Identity Operations)Pay: $55k - $60kDirect Hire, PermanentOnsite Atlanta, GA 30339Position OverviewWe’re hiring an IT Systems Engineer to support and scale an enterprise workplace technology environment of approximately 6,000 endpoints, including physical devices and Cloud PCs.This is a Level II / Level III role focused on endpoint engineering, identity, Microsoft 365, and automation. This is not Tier 1 support and not a small‑shop environment. Engineers in this role own escalations, improve systems at scale, and partner closely with leadership in a fast‑paced organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Conditional Access, RBAC, and Group PolicyDesign and manage Intune and Autopilot at scale, including device enrollment, compliance policies, imaging, and MFA onboardingAdminister Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDriveOwn endpoint lifecycle strategy including OS baselines, patching, and configuration standardsDevelop PowerShell scripts and automation to reduce manual work and improve consistencyHandle Level II and Level III escalations, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement permanent solutionsSupport core networking fundamentals including LAN, WLAN, VPN, DNS, and DHCP (Meraki experience a plus)Create and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and technical documentationSupport high‑visibility Day‑1 onboarding and executive escalationsRequired Experience4+ years of experience in enterprise IT systems, endpoint engineering, or advanced technical support on the operating system level with Intune, Entra ID and Microsoft 365Experience supporting large environments with thousands of endpointsStrong PowerShell scripting and automation experienceSolid networking fundamentalsEducation and CertificationsAssociates or Bachelors DegreeAny of the following Certifications:Microsoft Endpoint / Modern DesktopMicrosoft 365 (MS‑102)Azure Administrator (AZ‑104)CompTIA certifications
