This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate customers, subcontractors, field technicians, vendors, and internal teams to consistently deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.\nResponsibilities\nManage security integration projects from sales handoff through final commissioning, customer acceptance, and project closeout.\nReview project contracts, proposals, drawings, specifications, and scope documents to validate project requirements.\nCoordinate project kickoff meetings with customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, procurement timelines, and installation milestones.\nReview engineered system designs, device layouts, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and equipment selections to ensure constructability.\nCoordinate procurement of equipment, long-lead materials, and subcontracted services.\nManage installation activities for video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, structured cabling, fiber optic, and supporting low-voltage systems.\nCoordinate work on occupied facilities, tenant improvements, renovations, and ground-up construction projects.\nPerform site visits to monitor project progress, verify installation quality, resolve field issues, and maintain customer relationships.\nManage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, product data, closeout documentation, and project correspondence.\nReview and approve change orders, subcontractor proposals, and project cost impacts.\nTrack project budgets, labor utilization, committed costs, and overall financial performance.\nCoordinate programming, system commissioning, testing, customer training, and final acceptance.\nEnsure all work complies with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, applicable codes, and company quality standards.\nMaintain complete project documentation, including redlines, as-built drawings, operation manuals, warranty documentation, and turnover packages.\nWork closely with Sales, Engineering, Field Operations, Service, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless project execution.\nQualifications\n5+ years of project management experience within the commercial security integration or low-voltage industry.\nStrong working knowledge of electronic security systems, including:\nVideo Surveillance (Axis, Avigilon, Hanwha, i-PRO, Bosch, Uniview, etc.)\nAccess Control (Genetec, LenelS2, Software House, Avigilon ACM, Brivo, Verkada, etc.)\nIntrusion Detection Systems\nStructured Cabling and Fiber Optics\nNetwork Infrastructure supporting IP-based security systems\nExperience managing both retrofit and new construction projects.\nAbility to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and low-voltage construction drawings.\nExperience coordinating subcontractors, general contractors, architects, consultants, and owner representatives.\nKnowledge of project scheduling, procurement, project costing, change management, and construction documentation.\nExperience creating and maintaining as-built drawings, closeout documentation, O&M manuals, and turnover packages.\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, site safety, permitting requirements, and quality control.\nExcellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD (preferred), System Surveyor, Visio, Jobber, and project management software.\nOSHA 10/30 certification and PMP certification are a plus.\nPreferred Experience\nCalifornia public works and prevailing wage projects.\nDSA, K-12, higher education, healthcare, municipal, and commercial facilities.\nSecurity system commissioning and owner training.\nMulti-site enterprise deployments.\nExperience managing projects ranging from $100,000 to $5M+.\nWhy Join AIS?\nAt Alpha Integrated Solutions, you'll help deliver next-generation physical security solutions that combine industry-leading security technologies with the power of artificial intelligence.
