This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys building efficient systems, improving reporting, and supporting a growing remote-first company.\nWhy Join ComplyAuto?\nFully remote position with up to 5% travel for company meetings\n401(k) with 5% company match\n100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and families\nHSA contribution for qualifying plans\nUnlimited PTO plus 11 observed holidays\nWhat You'll Do\nLead full-cycle accounting, including monthly close, financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting commentary\nEstablish and maintain a close process that delivers financial statements by the 8th business day of each month\nEnsure monthly documentation and reconciliation of all material balance sheet accounts\nPartner with the CFO to monitor business performance, evaluate metrics, and identify meaningful financial trends\nImprove accounting systems and processes to deliver better analytics and stronger decision support\nMaintain compliance with GAAP and support external audits\nBuild clear, audit-ready procedures and strong internal controls\nPartner with external tax advisors on tax strategy, returns, and potential credits or savings opportunities\nOversee timely sales tax filings, business registrations, and related compliance requirements\nCollaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategy with operational and growth goals\nIdentify opportunities to increase ROI from financial systems, including the use of AI to automate manual tasks and elevate analysis\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience\n8+ years of experience leading accounting and finance teams\nStrong background in full-cycle accounting and monthly financial reporting\nDemonstrated expertise in GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition\nExperience managing audits and working with external auditors\nWorking knowledge of tax matters, including sales tax and income tax\nProficiency in financial systems; NetSuite preferred\nCPA or CMA preferred\nExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines\nHigh degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality\nStrong remote collaboration skills and willingness to travel up to 5%\nAdditional Requirements\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of work authorization within three days of hire.
