D365 F&O SCM Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Manufacturing & Supply Chain Consultant for a 3-month contract based in the Greater Chicago Area. The role will support a critical go-live, UAT, and post-go-live hypercare within a manufacturing environment.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across D365 F&O SCM and Manufacturing modules, with proven ability to support end users during late-stage implementation and stabilization.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport go-live, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activitiesTroubleshoot issues and support end-user adoptionProvide functional expertise across SCM & ManufacturingConfigure and support: Trade & Logistics, Inventory, Procurement, WMS, Production Control, BOMs/Routings, Master Planning, Asset & Cost ManagementAssist with training, documentation, and knowledge transferIdentify process gaps and support stabilization improvementsWork closely with technical teams on fixes/enhancementsRequired Experience5+ years D365 F&O or AX experienceStrong SCM and Manufacturing module expertiseExperience on at least 1–2 full lifecycle implementationsHands-on experience with UAT, go-live, and hypercareStrong stakeholder and end-user engagement skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, production-critical environments
