In this role, you'll own the full launch lifecycle, driving APQP, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing suppliers and capital equipment timelines and serving as a trusted customer interface through PPAP approval and stable production. If you enjoy building structure, solving technical problems, and moving programs from concept to launch with confidence, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact.\nWhat You'll Do:\nProgram Launch and Management\nLead new product launches from award through production.\nEstablish and manage program plans, gate/phase reviews and open-issue tracking to keep launches on schedule.\nServe as the primary program interface with the customer during launch.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams.\nAPQP and Quality Planning\nDrive the APQP process, including process flow diagrams, PFMEAs and control plans.\nManage PPAP submission and approval.\nEnsure launch processes are capable, documented, and compliant with customer and industry quality standards.\nSupplier and Capital Equipment Management\nManage suppliers and outside-processing sources supporting new programs, including tooling and fixture vendors.\nOwn capital equipment procurement, installation timelines, and qualification through to production readiness.\nTrack and coordinate long-lead items.\nEstimating and Feasibility\nPartner with the quoting and programming teams to assess feasibility and provide accurate quotes for complex parts and new business.\nLead design-for-manufacturing reviews with customers and internal teams.\nDocumenting and Reporting\nCreate and maintain launch documentation, work instructions and SOPs.\nReport program status, launch metrics and financial performance to leadership.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nEducation and Knowledge\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of engineering experience, including program/product management for new product launches (automotive and/or aerospace preferred).\nWorking knowledge of APQP and the core quality tools (PFMEA, control plans, PPAP, FAI/AS9102).\nFamiliarity with quality management systems such as IATF 1649 and/or AS9100\nWorking knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.\nProficiency in CAD (Fusion) software and Microsoft Office Suite.\nFamiliarity with ERP/MES systems; JobBOSS experience is a plus.\nSkills and Abilities\nDemonstrated ability to facilitate a project from concept and quote through a validated, production-ready launch.\nExperience managing suppliers and coordinating capital equipment installation and qualification timelines.\nStrong cross-functional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple concurrent programs with minimal oversight.\nPreferred Experience\nAutomotive and/or aerospace manufacturing experience.\nPrecision CNC machining, job shop, or complex part manufacturing background.\nFamiliarity with Fusion or similar CAD tools.\nExperience mentoring engineering staff, co-ops, or cross-functional teams.\nReady to Apply?\nThis is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who likes solving practical problems, aligning teams, and seeing programs move from quote to validated production.
