No relocation or per diem available.\r\nMain is searching for an employee experienced in working with containment and rigging in various shipyard environments. Containment/Rigging work will involve both shrink wrap and tarp style applications. This employee must have shipyard/marine experience and be knowledgeable with JLG style man-lifts. System Scaffold or Marine Hanging Scaffold experience is also expected.\r\nNo phone calls regarding position details or application status. All inquires by email.\r\nJob Type:Full-time, hourly\r\nRequired experience:3 years\r\nRequirements:Must be at least 18 years' oldExperience working in a physically demanding environment, confined spaces and working at heightsUnderstand and carry out verbal directions given by supervisorUnderstand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/or hazards signs posted on a job siteForklift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift)Must be able to lift 70 lbs. without assistanceMust be able to climb and work at elevated heights, 50+ feetAll candidates must submit to drug testing and E-Verification of their right to work in the USA criminal background check may be requiredCurrent TWIC badge a plusReliable transportation a mustNo overtime is guaranteed, but some projects do require overtime. This could be more than 40 hours during the normal Monday Friday work week, work on the weekends or both. Some projects do have a night shift.
