We need a hands-on technical technician who can personally troubleshoot electronics and guide systems through the RMA process.\nWhy You Want This Job\nWork hands-on with advanced tethered sUAS platforms, disassembling, testing, and troubleshooting the same systems supporting Army tactical networks and robotic combat vehicle programs\nOwn the full RMA lifecycle from intake to return, not just logging tickets and escalating\nYour findings feed directly back into product development; recurring issues you identify shape the next generation of Hoverfly systems\nSmall team, fast cycles, and direct access to the engineers who designed the hardware you're supporting\nOnsite in Wright City, MO with a collaborative team building technology at the leading edge of drone endurance\nWhat You'll Do\nDiagnose and resolve customer hardware, software, and system performance issues across Hoverfly's tethered drone platforms\nOwn RMA processing end-to-end: receive, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and coordinate return of customer systems\nDocument failure trends and feed root cause findings to engineering and production to drive reliability improvements\nMaintain configuration control and validate software/firmware versions across fielded systems\nBuild and maintain technical support documentation and knowledge base content\nWhy You'll Be Successful\nHands-on experience with drones, RC systems, robotics, or similar electromechanical hardware; you've taken things apart and figured out why they stopped working. Even better, you got them working again!\nComfort troubleshooting across both hardware and software environments\nFamiliarity with drone flight control systems or mission planning software\nPart 107 certification or willingness to obtain it\nAbility to lift 35-75 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions; this is a physical, hands-on role\nPosition is onsite in Wright City, MO, with an amazing team and a laid-back environment.\nEqual Opportunity Employer.
