This position requires an extensive amount of walking, standing, and physical movement.\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITES:\nStack, wrap, and deliver completed molded skids using a pallet jack, ensuring the boxes are placed on the skid as per the packing specifications\nTightly wrap skids of up to five stacked boxes, ensuring skids are sturdy and ready for transport\nCreate Pallet IDs and documentation for all skids of products produced\nPerform Printing production MP transaction scanning\nDeliver the wrapped skid to the warehouse for storage using an electrical pallet jack\nAssist in transporting products to and from the Warehouse\nKeep records of pallet ID created during MP transaction for tracking purposes\nReplace all packing supplies at the scheduled machines by following machine instructions and completing the supply sign-off sheet.\nReplenish empty skids on the production floor\nRemove broken or damaged skids to the warehouse\nReplenish the tape machine when it is empty.\nKeep records of corrugate boxes, liner bags and other products brought to production floor for traceability\nComplete Line Clearance during product change\nCollect purge and drool twice during the shift\nCollect scrap bags from the production floor and place in appropriate bins\nClear scrap products from machine areas and place them into scrap bins\nRecharge the battery of the electric pallet jack when low\nPerform daily checks on the pallet jack and keep records, reporting any issues to the supervisor\nPerform other duties as assigned\nSKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\nEducational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum Experience/Field: Previous experience handling the electric pallet jack would be an asset\nLicenses/Permits Required: Certified in operating a walkie pallet jack is an asset.\nCommunication Skills: Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills\nPhysical Requirements: Must be able to perform the Physical Activity Demands listed below\nCORE COMPETENCIES FOR THIS POSITION\nMust have the ability to lift more than 20 pounds, stand and walk for long periods of time\nThe Material Handler position includes reaching above and below shoulder height, kneeling, bending, and repetitive movements such as gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling\nPolytainers is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
