Other duties may be assigned.\r\nAccurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain, enter all required fields in scale computer, and place grain in proper bin.\r\nNotify grain hedge desk of all grain purchases immediately.\r\nPerform routine inventory measurements and monitor grain quality; record and report data.\r\nMaintain the cleanliness of the facility (inside & outside) and rolling stock on a routine basis.\r\nPerform yard maintenance including driveways, mowing, weed control, and snow removal.\r\nAssist with routine equipment maintenance, inspections and repairs. This includes but is not limited to:\r\nConstant observation and detection of abnormal equipment operation.\r\nMonitor bearings and leg belt alignment.\r\nLubrication of bearings and gearboxes as necessary.\r\nInspection and adjustment of conveyor chain tension.\r\nEnsure that mobile equipment is operational.\r\nIdentify grain and dust leaks and repair immediately. Notify supervisor if maintenance assistance is required.\r\nAccurately blend and load out truck grain.\r\nMaintain accurate documentation as required for housekeeping, maintenance, and safety.\r\nClean bin bottoms annually.\r\nOperate grain dryer (if applicable)\r\nParticipate in the loading of trains.\r\nLearn to operate the trackmobile and/or locomotive, the rail bulk scale and procedure for railcars.\r\nAssist other grain locations or departments as necessary including helping with train loading and the agronomy department in the spring.\r\nAccept additional responsibilities and duties as directed by the Grain Operations Supervisor, Grain Department Manager, or Chief Executive Officer.\r\nRead and follow New Vision employee polices.\r\nQualifications:\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\r\nMust have a basic understanding of machinery operation and dry material handling.\r\nMust have the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and perform accurate weight and inventory measurements.\r\nBasic computer skills required.\r\nMust be self-motivated and able to work as a team member.\r\nValid driver's license and the ability to acquire a CDL.\r\nWhy New Vision?
