You'll help manage timelines, track key milestones, support day-to-day coordination, and facilitate the successful execution of cross-functional initiatives. This role is ideal for future leaders who enjoy bringing order to complex technical projects, thrive in multidisciplinary environments, and want to develop practical skills in technical program management supporting our Aerospace and Defense Team.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nAssist in organizing project proposals, documentation, milestones, and deliverables for robotics and manufacturing programs.\r\nWork closely with engineers, product managers, and external partners to clarify project requirements and facilitate communication.\r\nSupport status reporting and progress tracking using modern project management tools (Google Suite, Notion, JIRA, etc.).\r\nHelp resolve blockers, coordinate schedules, and drive accountability on key action items to keep projects moving forward.\r\nPrepare meeting notes, update trackers, and contribute to presentations for leadership and stakeholders.\r\nDocument best practices and lessons learned throughout the internship for process improvement.\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or a related technical/management discipline.\r\nExpected to complete or have completed final degree within one year of the internship's end.\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.\r\nProficiency with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) and basic project management software (Smartsheet, Notion, etc.).\r\nSelf-motivated, highly organized, attentive to detail, and passionate about supporting complex technical projects.\r\nGPA of 3.0 or above preferred.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience working in team-based environments (clubs, internships, research, or prior jobs).\r\nPrevious exposure to project or technical management tools, scheduling, and status reporting in engineering or manufacturing fields.\r\n$20 - $35 an hour\r\nMachina Labs is an affirmative action and equal employment opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran in accordance with state and federal law.\r\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
