The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining press brake machinery, with a proven track record of safety and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brakes to produce high-quality components according to specifications.\n1st & 2nd shift openings available.\n1st shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM, Friday 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM\n2nd shift: 4x10, Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM\nKey Responsibilities:\nMachine Operation:\nOperate and maintain press brake machines, specifically Amada Press Brakes.\nSet up machines, load materials, and program controls according to specifications and production requirements.\nMonitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality output.\nConduct routine inspections and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems.\nCoordinate with maintenance teams and machine leads for more complex repairs or scheduled maintenance.\nQuality Control:\nInspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.\nIdentify and report any product inconsistencies or machine malfunctions to the supervisor.\nMaintain accurate records of machine operation, including any issues encountered and corrective actions taken.\nSafety & Compliance:\nFollow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.\nWear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety policies.\nReport any hazards or safety concerns immediately to management and/or Human Resources.\nCollaboration:\nWork closely with other operators, supervisors, quality control personnel to meet production goals.\nAssist with training new operators and share best practices with team members.\nCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the production line.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field preferred.\nExperience operating press brake machinery, with a strong preference for experience with Amada Press Brakes.\nProven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nProficient in operating and programming press brake controls.\nExcellent communication and listening skills, with attention to clarity, quality, and precision.\nProactive, quick-thinking, problem-solving approach to work.\nAbility to use a large variety of hand and power tools with proper safety techniques.\nAbility to lift up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance).\nAbility to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours throughout the shift.\nIn return we offer\nHourly pay rate in the range of $24.00-$27.00 DOE.\nComprehensive Benefits Package:\nMedical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, Life Insurance, Disability, ADD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Floating Holidays, ESST.\nDisclaimer:\nThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with the position.
