We are looking to add someone to our support team. This would be a fully remote position and reports to our VP of Security. You would be responsible for deploying work remote solutions to our employees based all over the world. You would also provision and install appropriate software that all our new hires would need before they start and work to ship them their new equipment. The Technical Support Specialist will also support Wealth.com employees with any technical related issues that they may have within their day to day.ResponsibilitiesMaintain an inventory of installed software, managing software licensing, and creating policies and procedures for upgradesAnalyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardizationCreate user accounts and manage access control based on company policiesMaintain, analyze, and repair hardware and software systemsRespond to tickets in Jira, and troubleshoot and resolve problems on timeSupport and enforce information technology (IT) policiesSet up and configure new systems (Mac and PC), applications, and upgradesManage user account information, permissions, and rights, including groupsDocument standard procedures and processesPartner with HR and Security for onboarding of new employeesWork with laptop vendors to order new laptops as neededHelp Wealth.com employees with any technical issuesTrain end-users on best practices for using various IT systems, software, and devices.Provide support for office equipment (printers, scanners, and other peripherals), ensuring that all devices are functioning optimally and resolving any technical problems.Write and maintain basic scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.Qualifications2 years of experience supporting hardware and software applicationsExperience with laptop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivityStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.Experience, troubleshooting, both Mac and Windows operating systemStrong knowledge of Google WorkspaceScripting knowledge: bash/python/powershell or other languagesExperience with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs, and familiarity with network hardware such as routers and switches.Benefits & PerksCompetitive salaryHybrid work arrangement in Tempe, AZExcellent medical, dental, and vision insurance options, with low-cost premium structures that demonstrate our commitment to offering great value to our employees100% company-paid basic life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance100% paid parental leave upon eligibilityCompany equity managed through Carta401k with match and 100% vesting upon hireFlexible PTO in an environment where taking time off to relax or recharge is supported and encouragedTake time off for holidays — and yes, your birthday counts too.
