This hands-on leadership role drives operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction by overseeing the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and delivery of materials. The Supervisor ensures compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\n\nEssential duties & responsibilities\nThe essential functions of the job include the following:\nSupervise all inbound and outbound logistics activities, including unloading, racking, picking, staging, and shipping.\nEnsure all materials are handled, stored, and delivered accurately and safely.\nDevelop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager to improve warehouse performance and compliance.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient facility aligned with company and customer standards.\nAssist in maintaining facility security and compliance with site-specific safety requirements.\nMaintain accurate inventory balances and location control using eWMS and SAP.\nPerform and oversee goods receipts, transfers, and adjustments in SAP/EWMS.\nEnsure real-time accuracy of RF scan transactions and system updates.\nReconcile inventory discrepancies promptly and report variances to Operations.\nSupport regular cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives related to material accuracy.\nEnsure forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA standards.\nPerform and document daily forklift safety inspections, Equipment logs, report maintenance issues immediately.\nPromote and enforce site safety practices, including PPE usage, traffic management, and emergency procedures.\nSupport safety meetings and training initiatives to maintain a zero-incident workplace.\nServe as primary on-site contact for Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics.\nCommunicate shipment and receiving status updates to customer stakeholders.\nReport any quality, damage, or unidentified material issues promptly.\nSupport customer audits and provide accurate records and reports as required.\nTrack and report daily activity metrics (receipts, shipments, on-time performance, inventory accuracy).\nIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.\nAssist in employee training, performance feedback, and adherence to SOPs.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.\nMinimum 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.\nExperience in using SAP, eWMS, or similar inventory management systems required.\nPrior forklift certification and RF scanning experience required.\nStrong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).\nProficient with RF scanners and basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams).\nExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate others.\nAbility to work independently with strong attention to detail and follow-through.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.\nForklift operation (stand-up and sit-down); certification preferred.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nClimbing\n- ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.\nBalancing\n- maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.\nStooping/Crouching\n- bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.\nKneeling\n- bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.\nReaching\n- extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.\nStanding\n- particularly for sustained periods of time\nWalking\n- moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.\nPushing & Pulling\nLifting up to 50 lbs\n- raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.\nGrasping\n- applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.\nRepetitive motion\n- substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.\nThe worker is subject to both environmental conditions.
