{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"24e0c5da96eceb646cfee1cf","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/24e0c5da96eceb646cfee1cf","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/24e0c5da96eceb646cfee1cf","title":"2nd shift - Sand Blaster","description":"Job Category\n13.4 Production Workers\n\nRequisition Number\nSANDB007143\n\nPosting Details\n\nPosted: July 10, 2026\n\nFull-Time\n\nOn-site\n\nLocation: 3920 SE Commerce Ave., Stuart, FL 34997, USA\n\nJob Details\nResponsibilities\n\nOperate a sandblasting system in a blasting room equipped with a hopper and media recovery system.\n\nSandblast stainless steel, carbon steel, and alumina parts using JetMag® abrasive media to prepare surfaces for paint or powder coating.\n\nMonitor the dust collection system and empty the self-dumping dust collector hopper daily using a forklift to ensure proper operation and maintain a clean work environment.\n\nSafely operate a forklift to move materials and support daily production as needed.\n\nInspect parts to ensure proper surface preparation and quality.\n\nPerform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the blasting equipment and work area.\n\nFollow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.\n\nAssist with powder coating operations as a backup when needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nPrevious sandblasting experience is preferred.\n\nForklift experience is required; forklift certification is preferred (or willingness to become certified, if applicable).\n\nExperience using JetMag® or similar abrasive blasting media is a plus.\n\nPowder coating experience is a strong advantage.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\n\nThis is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to work in both surface preparation and powder coating operations.\n\nRequired Education\n\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Some vocational or training certificate preferred\n\nA working knowledge of manual and automatic sand and grit blasting machines, materials, processes, and practices\n\nA working knowledge of safety devices necessary for outdoor sandblasting including street sandblasting\n\nA working knowledge of the hazards to health encountered and the protective devices used in sandblasting streets and other surfaces\n\nAble to do grit or sandblasting and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions\n\nKey Competencies\n\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills\n\nPlanning and organizing\n\nDecision maker\n\nExceptional Communication skills\n\nSupervisory Responsibility - This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.\n\nWork Environment - This job operates in a shop environment where tools and other machinery is used.\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position.
