Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg Peds Adult/n/nJob Details:/n• Collaborate with healthcare team using evidence-based practice while providing safe and optimal patient outcomes/n• Demonstrate accountability and respect for patients, families, and coworkers/n• Promote continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family/n• Direct the work of support staff in provision of care/n• Perform general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision/n• Work with age-specific populations including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients/n• Graduate of an accredited RN program required; BSN preferred/n• Current Iowa RN registration and licensure required, must be in good standing with Board of Nursing/n• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required/n• Current ACLS certification required/n• Nursing experience in acute care setting preferred/n• Must read and communicate effectively in English/n• Demonstrate empathetic listening skills, tact and kindness toward others/n• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively as team member/n• Basic computer knowledge required/n• Technical and critical thinking skills for sound nursing judgment/n/nFacility:/nThis regional healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the community, featuring medical surgical units that care for both pediatric and adult populations.
