They value humility, emotional awareness, patience, and continuous learning because dogs respond to who we are just as much as what we do.\nThis is a role for someone who wants to become exceptional, not someone who’s simply looking for a job working with dogs.\nYour Responsibilities\nLearning and practicing my approach to dog psychology, behavior, and calm leadership.\nSafely handling dogs in structured group settings with consistency, awareness, and confidence.\nAssisting with daily adventures including hiking, biking, swimming, treadmill work, obstacle courses, and enrichment activities.\nHelping dogs settle into calm, balanced states through quiet, structured downtime.\nPicking up and dropping off dogs safely and professionally.\nPreparing meals for the dogs.\nCleaning, organizing, and maintaining a welcoming environment.\nGreeting clients and building positive, professional relationships.\nAnticipating what needs to be done and taking initiative without being asked.\nOrdering supplies, going grocery shopping and helping keep the business organized and running smoothly.\nAssisting with property maintenance, including watering the vegetable garden, pulling weeds, repairing equipment and seasonal tasks like shoveling snow.\nHelping with general household and business tasks that keep the day running efficiently.\nSupporting the day-to-day operations of a growing small business and pitching in wherever needed.\nThe Person I’m Looking For\nYou have exceptional instincts with dogs or a genuine desire to develop them.\nYou understand that dogs need calm, confident leadership, not just affection.\nYou’re dependable.
