During harvest will be assigned to assist in the unloading of trucks at corn piles.\nLoads ethanol via railcar and truck; loads WDGS trucks for customer delivery. Unloads all chemical trucks and railcars.\nMaintain complete and accurate logs associated with the Material Handlers area of the plants.\nCommunicates regularly with all necessary personnel to ensure efficient plan operation.\nAssist all other employees and departments as required for efficient plant operation.\nProvides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.\nAbides by all safety, health, environmental and food/feed safety policies, and procedures.\nMaintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nEducation and Experience:\nEducation: High School or Equivalent. A Post Secondary education and or technical trade certificate is preferred.\nExperience: 1-2 years’ experience preferred.\nIn-depth knowledge of the ethanol production process and technology is preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of plant equipment and safety.\nPossess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in the facility: Industrial size equipment such as lifts and skid steers; variety of hand tools, power tools.\nAbility to adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\nAbility to build relationships with internal and external customers.\nAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers and senior level management.\nAbility to maintain good attendance habits.\nAbide by all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.\nAbide by company’s safety, quality, environmental and HR policies at all times.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nFrequently required to walk, stand, sit.\nFrequently required to climb to levels of 125 feet or more, confined, and harnessed. Use of stairs and ladders are required.\nOccasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more.\nOperate in an office and production environment. Production environment could include frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
