This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has a strong sense of organization, and takes pride in creating an efficient and safe environment.\nAs a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be a critical part of the store’s daily operations—helping maintain accurate inventory, assisting customers with large orders, and ensuring that products are stored and stocked properly.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nInventory Management & Receiving\nVerify incoming merchandise against invoices and purchase orders\nReport shortages, damages, or backorders to the appropriate team member\nLabel, price, and organize merchandise for stocking\nMaintain accurate receiving files and inventory records\nRestock product in the warehouse and assist in placing it on the sales floor\nCustomer & Team Support\nLoad customer purchases into vehicles carefully and efficiently\nAssist customers and team members with lifting, moving, or locating large items\nUse a 2-way radio and respond promptly to calls and pages\nCommunicate effectively with management, delivery personnel, and store associates\nWarehouse Maintenance\nKeep the warehouse, storage areas, and check-in zones clean and orderly\nMaintain the customer loading area and special order storage zones\nPerform maintenance on receiving tools and equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, etc.)\nSecure documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records\nGeneral Operations\nOperate forklifts, pushcarts, and other warehouse equipment safely\nPrepare and package items for mailing or transfer\nAssist with promotional setup and special event displays\nAdhere to all safety procedures and company protocols\nJanitorial & Special Projects\nClean restrooms, offices, and the sales floor as assigned\nUse and maintain floor cleaning machines for store upkeep\nParticipate in store meetings and training sessions\nComplete special projects as directed by store leadership\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nHigh school diploma or GED (required)\nBasic computer skills (PC operations and basic data entry)\nForklift certification (can be obtained through the company)\nPositive attitude and ability to work as part of a team\nStrong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements:\nAbility to lift and move up to 100 lbs. with assistance\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing\nRegular use of hands to handle tools, products, and materials\nComfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions (including heat, cold, and dust)\nExposure to mechanical equipment and moderate noise levels\nWhy Join E&H Hardware Group?\nFamily-owned company rooted in Ohio communities\nSupportive team culture and hands-on leadership\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance (Full-Time)\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off and holiday pay\nEmployee Assistance Program\nGenerous employee discount\nCareer growth and development opportunities\nAbout Us:\nE&H Hardware Group operates multiple Ace Hardware stores and a skilled trades service division across Ohio.
