This position works closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain accounting records, and assist with day-to-day financial activities. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, QuickBooks experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nAssist the Controller with daily accounting and financial operations.\nPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.\nProcess and reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.\nAssist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.\nPrepare journal entries and supporting documentation.\nReview accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy.\nAssist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.\nHelp prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.\nMonitor cash flow and assist with cash management activities.\nSupport internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.\nAssist with annual audits, tax filings, and financial documentation.\nMaintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.\nAnalyze financial data and identify opportunities to improve processes.\nProvide administrative support to the Controller and Finance Department as needed.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.\n2–5 years of accounting experience required.\nExperience with QuickBooks is required.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nIdeal Candidate\nThe successful candidate is a detail-oriented accounting leader who is comfortable balancing strategic financial oversight with hands-on accounting responsibilities. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and are committed to maintaining financial accuracy and operational excellence. This person should be able to identify trends, improve processes, automate workflows, create clear SOPs, and provide meaningful reporting to support business decisions.\nCompensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
