{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2481b9e6d4900627cf934985","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2481b9e6d4900627cf934985","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2481b9e6d4900627cf934985","title":"Network Engineer -Wireless","description":"The Network Analyst II will work in a Customs & Border Protection's (CBP) Enterprise Network Architecture & Engineering support services contract (ENAESS), focused on Wireless Network deployments and maintenance.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nAssist various departments to maintain network security and configure remote routers and provide engineering support.\r\nAnalyze and recommend solutions, upgrades services to streamline process and recommend improvements.\r\nMaintain hardware and software for network perform troubleshoot and assist in the installation and upgrade of Router and switch IOS to a baseline.\r\nInstall and maintain data and voice circuits through routers, switches, and Wide Area Network devices.\r\nUnderstanding the Customer mission to assist with engineering requirements.\r\nAnalyze and perform troubleshoot on Local Area Network cabling and Wide Area Network wired and wireless.\r\nConfigure routers and switches to support Voice Over IP and VTC devices and ensure customer availability for various networks.\r\nAdminister and prepare program for IP addresses, develop network resources and train support personnel to provide Tier I support to end users.\r\nEngineer and/or Monitor all Information Assurance policies and enforce compliance to all network security policies.\r\nCoordinate with various teams for disaster planning and perform network backup and monitor recovery processes.\r\nManage and document network systems, operational procedures and monitor hardware inventory for network.\r\nParticipate in network on-call support on rotational basis.\r\nEnsure and provide effective customer service to in-unit managers and customers.\r\nEligibility / Clearance Requirements\r\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with an active clearance.\r\nClearance Preference\r\nCBP Full BI - 1st priority\r\nAny DHS badge + DoD Top Secret - 2nd choice\r\nDoD Top Secret + willingness to get CBP clearance - 3rd choice (it can take 45 days to 6 months to obtain a CBP clearance – work can only begin once the clearance is fully adjudicated)\r\nCertification Requirements\r\nNone\r\nEducation, Skill, and Experience Requirements\r\nBachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree; Without a degree a H.S.
