Materials Planner

We have an opportunity for a Materials Planner to join our Apopka, FL team. You will be responsible for the continuous supply of assigned components. This includes purchasing and production scheduling to maintain inventory levels required to meet inventory and on time delivery KPIs. You will: Maintain MRP planning parameters for all assigned parts/suppliers. Release purchase orders from MRP planned releases for assigned items. Create daily production schedule to maintain established safety stock levels and meet non-stock order requirements. Expedite purchase orders and/or production as needed to meet customer delivery expectations. Maintain a parts shortage list and provide update to stockholders. Work with suppliers and internal customers to resolve non-conforming quality issues. Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment. Able to independently troubleshoot issues/concerns and determine course of action. Comply with all safety and department regulations. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the group lead. Key Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Proficient with standard MS Office applications including intermediate to advanced level in Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Supplier relationship management skills Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
