Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A skilled School Psychologist is needed to provide comprehensive psychological services within a school setting in Glendale, AZ. This contract position involves working primarily at one school, where the levels of special education support vary. Each school offers resource-level special education services, and some may have self-contained programs. Candidates should be prepared to assess their interest and provide input regarding these programs to help tailor their role.Responsibilities:Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support special education eligibility and services.Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).Provide counseling and intervention strategies to students as needed.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate and address student needs.Monitor and manage a caseload averaging approximately 50 students, with specific caseload details provided by the lead psychologist based on the applicant's interests.Qualifications:Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.Experience working with diverse special education populations, including resource and self-contained programs.Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP development.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff, parents, and students.Ability to manage a significant caseload while maintaining quality and individualized support.Location: Glendale, ArizonaThis role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences by providing essential psychological services tailored to their needs.
