System Engineer
Job Title: System EngineerLocation: Glendale AZPay Rate:- $63/hour on W2Key Responsibilities• Lead system-level development throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through qualification• Develop, decompose, and maintain system requirements using IBM DOORS/DOORS Next• Define and execute Verification and Validation (V&V) strategies, including test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria• Ensure requirements traceability and compliance with applicable MIL-STD documents and customer specifications• Support system architecture definition, interface development, and system modeling activities• Lead system integration and verification efforts in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams• Partner with scientists and engineering experts to translate emerging technology into validated system performance• Provide technical leadership, guide junior engineers, and support design reviews• Generate engineering documentation, perform trade studies, and present findings to internal teams and customers• Ensure adherence to processes, engineering rigor, and configuration controlYOU MUST HAVE• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field• Proven experience developing or executing V&V plans and system test strategies• Experience with DOORS/DOORS Next for requirements management• Working knowledge of MIL-STDs and the ability to apply them to system design, component selection and qualification• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in cross-functional engineering teams• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with scientists and engineering specialistsWE VALUE• Experience in Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS)• Background in hardware development in highly regulated environments• Understanding of fluid, chemical, or thermal systems• Ability to drive technical decision-making and influence without authority•Team oriented; enthusiastic about working on interdisciplinary teams•Good written and oral communication skills•Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision•Fosters an open, honest, collaborative, and respectful and working environment•Willingness to learn new technologies•Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work•Eagerness to teach and mentor engineers in running a laboratory, planning scientific experiments, and data analysis•Understanding of industry standards, including knowledge of and ability to operate under safety standardsAbout Acro: Acro Service Corporation is a global professional services and contract staffing company that has provided IT, Engineering, and Professional services/ personnel to major corporations.
