We're looking for a Software Engineer / Electrical Engineer who enjoys building high-performance software and developing real-time signal processing applications. You will design, develop and integrate software into an automated SIGINT processing system that is used by our government customer to analyze our adversaries’ technical capabilities in a variety of warfighting domains.\nYou'll collaborate with engineers across software, electrical, and aerospace disciplines to develop next-generation signal processing and analysis capabilities. This role involves a dive into encryption/decryption technologies, wireless communication protocols and system navigation data. The candidate will work with a small team of other engineers to extract system engineering data from a variety of platforms and systems that enables our customer to maintain a complete picture of up-and-coming technologies and capabilities.\nThis position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys writing efficient code, solving difficult technical problems, and seeing their software operate on real-world systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain software applications supporting RF signal processing and wireless communication protocols.\nDevelop real-time signal processing applications using Python and C++ in Linux environments.\nBuild and enhance X-Midas applications, primitives, macros, and data processing tools.\nDesign intuitive graphical user interfaces using PyQt for engineering and data analysis applications.\nAutomate signal processing tool sets within a high-performance computing infrastructure.\nDevelop multi-threaded applications for high-throughput data processing.\nImplement and improve signal detection, filtering, and frequency tuning capabilities.\nDesign software that interfaces with relational databases including MySQL.\nImprove software performance through optimization and efficient algorithm development.\nSupport testing, troubleshooting, and validation of hardware/software systems.\nParticipate in the design and implementation of new signal processing capabilities.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.\n5-10 years of professional experience.\nStrong programming skills in Python and C++.\nExperience developing software in Linux environments.\nKnowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP).\nExperience with RF communications systems.\nExperience with object-oriented software design.\nExperience developing graphical user interfaces using PyQt or Qt.\nFamiliarity with multi-threaded application development.\nExperience working with databases such as MySQL.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with X-Midas development.\nExperience developing real-time data processing applications.\nFamiliarity with encryption/decryption technologies.\nExperience optimizing software performance.\nExperience with TensorFlow or machine learning applications.\nExperience with Kubernetes, Nomad or other process orchestration architectures.\nUp to date polygraph examination\nWho we are:\nOur people are the core of who we are and what we do.
