By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a diverse career that could take you anywhere in the world.\nLycopodium is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join our growing Process team in Lima Peru.\nReporting to the Manager of Process - Americas, the Process Engineer is responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant process design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures.\nResponsibilities Manage multiple tasks and prioritise where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.\nAssist with process design including, but not limited to, mass balances, flowsheets, PIDs, design criteria, operating costs and control philosophy.\nPrepare the process components of projects and studies and ensure they are correct and thorough.\nAssist with metallurgical test work programs and interpret metallurgical test work data.\nAdvise the Project / Study Manager immediately on matters that negatively affect project / study goals.\nWork in conjunction with a range of internal and external stakeholders to meet project / study design work criteria and deliverables.\nEnsure all relevant stakeholders are notified immediately of any risk or changes to Process deliverables.\nRegister and file all relevant project documentation in accordance to the Company approved procedures.\nAssist with commissioning activities, if required.\nProactively support other team members as required to ensure Project / Study deliverables are met.\nQualifications University Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification.\n3+ years post graduate experience.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.\nBuild and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.\nProactively seek and accept guidance and feedback provided by subject matter experts.\nDriven and determined to achieve objectives through continued professional development.\nGood organisational and time management skills\nPersonal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.\nRelevant technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience preparing process engineering documents:\nDesign criteria\nMass balance/water balance\nProcess flowsheets\nP&IDs\nOPEX\nControl philosophy\nUse of LIMN simulation software\nDense media separation (DMS) testwork and DMS equipment sizing experience\nPlant site/commissioning experience\nBenefits Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
