This customer is a leading manufacturer of Agricultural chemicals and products in the country.\n\nThis is a first shift position and requires a pre-employment background and drug test\n\n*Job Overview*\n\nWe are seeking a dedicated Packaging Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining agricultural chemical packaging machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and experience with industrial equipment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment focused on food manufacturing and packaging excellence.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Operate packaging machines efficiently, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards\n* Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and make minor adjustments as needed\n* Handle materials and finished products using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts\n* Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment\n* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards\n* Assist with setup, calibration, and changeovers of packaging machinery for different product runs\n* Document production data accurately and report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns promptly\n* Support warehouse operations by managing inventory levels of packaging supplies and materials\n* Use hand tools and machining techniques for minor repairs or adjustments to equipment when necessary\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* Proven experience operating packaging machinery within a manufacturing or food production setting\n* Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems\n* Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, weights, and counts\n* Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including GMP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)\n* Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools\n* Strong understanding of food safety protocols and safety protocol adherence\n* Mechanical knowledge related to machining, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting\n* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail\n* Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates\n\nIf you are motivated by precision, safety, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply today.
