Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site.\n\ninspection to monitor plan compliance. Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance.\n\nwith plans and specifications. Research, plan, and administer building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction.\n\nprocedures, and building materials. Present status reports to owner. Receive, review and coordinate contract changes into project.\n\ndelivery. Be intimately and completely knowledgeable of current and future activities in area(s) of responsibility and be able to\n\nimplement countermeasures to support project schedule.\n\n*Detailed Description of Responsibilities:*\n\n1. Implement building construction projects to support site.\n\n2. Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.\n\n3. Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.\n\n4. Coordinate communications between owner, contractor and A/E firm\n\n5. May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders.\n\n6. Supervises construction activity in the field.\n\n7.Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.\n\n8. Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.\n\n9. Have knowledge of general building construction methods.\n\n10. Develop project status reports for management review\n\n11. Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.\n\n12. Coordinator RFI’s and CCR’s\n\n*Requirements:*\n\n*Required Qualifications:*\n\n1. Level of experience 10-15 years\n\n2. 10+ years of experience in industrial construction projects, with emphasis on building construction (greenfield or brownfield)\n\n3.Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods\n\n4.Proficient drawing review and field application abilities\n\n5. OSHA 30 and 510 certification.\n\n6. Ability to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.\n\n7. Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.\n\n8. Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.\n\n9. Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook\n\n10.
