This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies including RF systems, embedded electronics, sensors, and power systems to detect, track, and neutralize unmanned aerial threats.Key success factors for this role include:Problem-solving and analytical thinkingHands-on prototyping and testingCross-disciplinary collaborationStrong documentation and communication skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, mission-driven environmentsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test electronic hardware for drone detection and mitigation systemsWork on RF systems including signal detection, jamming, and communication modulesDevelop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes for embedded systemsIntegrate sensors (radar, EO/IR, acoustic, RF) into defense platformsCollaborate with software, firmware, and systems engineers for full system integrationConduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in lab and field environmentsOptimize power distribution and battery systems for portable and fixed defense platformsSupport EMI/EMC compliance and environmental testing (MIL-STD preferred)Analyze system performance and improve reliability and efficiencyParticipate in field deployments and system demonstrationsAbility to work extended hours and/or some weekends for mission critical deadlinesRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in electronics design and development (defense or aerospace preferred)Strong experience with:Analog and digital circuit designPCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, or similar)Embedded systems and microcontrollersFamiliarity with RF systems, antennas, and signal processingExperience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)Experience with DSP systemsUnderstanding of power systems and battery managementAbility to debug complex electrical systemsExisting US Security clearance or ability to obtain oneITAR RegulationsTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
