Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Experienced Registered Nurses with strong ICU backgrounds are invited to provide expert care in a dynamic intensive care environment. This contract opportunity involves supporting a 16-bed ICU unit with an average daily census of 10, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex and acute medical conditions.Schedule:12-hour shifts, starting at 06:45 for daysEvery other weekend rotation requiredNo on-call shiftsWill work 75% of holidays per facility policyScheduling follows a 6-week cycleQualifications:Active RN licenseMinimum 2 years of recent ICU experienceCurrent BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certificationsStrong skill set in art line management, vasoactive medication titration, ventilator management and weaning, chest tube management, and advanced critical thinkingEPIC EMR proficiency preferredOpen to first-time travelers with robust ICU experienceResponsibilities:Care for a diverse mix of critically ill adult patients, including those with ARDS, sepsis, COPD, DKA, and strokeMaintain safe patient ratios: 2:1 for ICU and 3:1 for IMCCollaborate with an extensive support team, including CNAs, a resource nurse, 24/7 RT and intensivist coverage, hospitalists, and partial-day PICC teamConduct critical interventions such as monitoring telemetry, managing central lines, titrating medications, and delivering evidence-based patient careSupport peers, particularly newer nurses, by sharing knowledge and answering questionsParticipate actively in department and new employee orientationAdditional Details:Float as required to Med Surg (4:1 ratio) or lend support to ED (no assignment given)Uniform: Royal Blue scrubsFree parking on-siteTake the next step in your nursing journey—apply today to grow your expertise while making a direct impact in an innovative, supportive ICU setting.
