This role requires experience with setting up and programming Mazak CNC lathes. You’ll be responsible for turning raw materials into high-quality components that meet tight tolerances and industry standards.Key Responsibilities\r\nProgram and set up Mazak CNC lathes (Mazatrol or G-code)\r\nSelect tooling and set up fixtures per job specifications\r\nPerform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools\r\nRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers\r\nTroubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed\r\nMaintain safety and cleanliness of the work area\r\nOperate multiple machines when requiredQualifications\r\n2+ years of CNC latheset-up and programmingexperience\r\nMazak/Mazatrol experience strongly preferred\r\nAbility to read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, gauges\r\nAble to lift 20 lbs. and stand for full shifts\r\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment\r\nCompany DescriptionStrange Engineering is proud to be a leader in high-performance automotive racing components.
