This role combines hands-on development with strategic leadership to aggressively build and innovate in the blockchain space.\r\nWhat a typical week might look like Lead by example : Design and implement gas-optimized smart contracts that will be deployed and used by hundreds of thousands of developers globally.\r\nDrive innovation : Architect and develop new smart contract frameworks and tools to empower developers to create secure, efficient, and scalable decentralized applications.\r\nMentorship and collaboration : Mentor team members, review code, and foster an environment of growth and innovation within the Protocol team.\r\nCross-functional collaboration : Partner with other teams to solve complex customer challenges, plan new features, and iterate on solutions based on feedback and lessons learned.\r\nCustomer engagement : Act as a technical point of contact for customers, assisting with integrating thirdweb into their applications or platforms.\r\nCommunity engagement : Represent thirdweb in the web3 ecosystem, collaborating with developers, companies, and auditors to establish best practices and influence industry standards.\r\nWhat we're looking for 4+ years of professional software engineering experience\r\nProficiency with Solidity, the EVM, and deep knowledge of blockchain architecture and mechanics.\r\nInterest and passion for contributing to the crypto ecosystem\r\nDeep understanding of smart contract best practices, current industry patterns and security best practices\r\nExcited about working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment that prioritizes delivering impact and learning over process\r\nA self-starter in proposing and carrying out technical solutions to ambiguous business problems\r\nKnow when and how to make calculated tradeoffs to meet the needs of the customer and business\r\nCompetitive pay, equity and 401K\r\nLatest and greatest laptop of your choice\r\nParental Leave support\r\n?
