Belong to a place where you matter and can make a difference.\nWhat you will do:\nThe ACH File Processor is a member of a team composed of experienced ACH professionals who contribute their knowledge and ACH file processing experience to provide outstanding service to our members. ACH File Processors are detailed oriented individuals that have a track record of achieving departmental and institutional goals. The ACH File Processors is responsible for analyzing, and reconciling daily ACH returns and payments in accordance with Nacha and Federal guidelines\nThe ACH File Processor adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.\nA day in your life might include:\nProcess multiple incoming daily Federal Reserve ACH return files in accordance with Nacha governing regulations\nPrepare and send daily completed ACH files to partner Accounting/Recon teams.\nResearch and respond daily to ACH return file member escalations.\nPerform Federal Reserve/ EPN ACH adjustments and assists Recon/Accounting teams with balancing and settlement.\nPartner with other internal departments to research and resolve ACH processing issues.\nAdditional Responsibilities may include:\nPerform ACH testing of new products of systems.\nAttend three NACHA training webinars annually.\nAssist with ACH dispute, stop payment, EFT and ACH research as needed.\nAdditional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.\nEducation Requirements\nHigh School Degree or Equivalent Required\nAt least 1 year of ACH file processing work experience required.\nAAP certified professional, preferred.\nKnowledge of Reg E and NACHA Regulations, preferred.\nStrong analytical skills.\nAbility to multitask under tight deadlines.\nProblem resolution experience.\nProficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nAbility to prioritize workload commitments.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods\nMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds\nCompensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education.\nThe full hourly range for this Grade is $21.35 – $32.02; however, the hourly range for this specific position is $21.35 - $26.50, dependent on skills and experience level.\nOther Compensation Includes:\nAnnual corporate-wide incentives\nWe provide comprehensive benefits, with a focus on total well-being:\nMedical, vision, dental benefits\n401k plan with company matching\nGenerous sick, vacation and personal leave\nAnd more...2026 SECU Benefits Guide\nSECU is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce where all individuals are valued and respected.
